This garden space was an in-ground garden for the past few years, and this client decided she was ready to transition to raised beds. We worked together to find the combination of beds and trellises that provided the most efficient use of her already good soil. These beds are only 8 inches deep, but are open to the ground so the roots can stretch into the already fertile soil. The trellises were assembled on-site, to perfectly fit the pathways and allow for squash, tomatoes, cucumbers and green bean vines to grow over the paths rather than taking up valuable planting space.
